Hi, I've been lurking this site for a while now. It looks like there's really only one NW Ohio resident on the board (at least he's definitely the most vocal one anyways) and it looks like this place could use someone a little more... neutral from the region.

So greetings from Fremont/BG

Well, hello right back and welcome!

Take a look here and you can see the break down of where people are from on the forum (or at least, those who bothered to answer the poll) Looks like you could be #4 from Toledo-Fremont!

nw ohio is the least represented quadrant of the state here on uo.

Hola and welcome!

While I have lived in Cleveland for the past 8 years, the first 23 years of my life were spent in Toledo.  I was a west sider there and a west sider here. ::Grin::  My folks still live there, so I try to keep tabs on it and make it back when I can.

Actually, SE Ohio is the least represented quadrant but it's always great to have more NW Ohioans!

Interestingly, the most vocal NW forumer is also the most vocal SE forumer.

Well, I can definitely offer news (not much of interest happening in Fremont for oh, the past 25 years though) but sadly I have no camera which is a real shame as I take frequent visits downtown and to Speigal Grove and some other local areas with great picture taking opportunities.

Thanks for the welcome.

Tell me about Gibsonburg; is it worth checking out?

I'd say yeah, it's a really small but it's fairly well off and has a lot of pretty areas, the White Star Park there is also really nice. Apparently their bakery and whatever pizza place they have there is really good.

The city data profile offers some photos of it.

Thanks!

That was super quick too.

Hello was a great program, I used it for sharing pictures. I am not happy with google about their decision, no reason to have picasa now.

i dk about photo threads, but i was going by this uo stat on the forums homepage, where nw ohio is least represented:

Yeah, but Central Ohio is way larger in those stats than the Southeast portion of the state, if you broke it down.  I'm betting NW Ohio also has larger stats than SE Ohio if broken up.  That's partly WHY I put SE Ohio with Central, as they could get more traffic (thanks seicer).

i see. thats probably a good idea. it would get lost otherwise. or worse, filled with ou frat antics threads.
