Posted July 4, 200816 yr You didn't think the parade was over yet, did you?!? Japanese contingent: Awww, a tender moment: I wasn't aware that sexy was ever there in the first place: Palestinian contingent: That's one big-@ss fairy! Pansexual playground... ohhhhkay... :wtf: Alrighty then... Note the individual behind HeSheCheetah - yep, nekkid and umm... in "transition" :-P Having had our fill of flesh parade we headed over to the festivities on Church Street: We needed a little food, some of my dinner companions wanted to order the server  Though the interior of the place was nifty: Madame Butterfly? Busy in every direction: I suppose I can see why someone might find him attractive (he's alright, but he's no S.O.) ;-) Heavy on the accessories and not much else: Over to the Barn for some dancing - no, it wasn't country music (as IF!): We left around 2am-ish, yep - streets were still crowded: Woke up early the next morning for a quick stroll around the hotel - found a few old gems (buildings, not people!): And new gems in the making: A little canyon effect: Lovely older building - what is it? Ahh, thank you - such helpful little angels! The closest I got to the CN Tower (thank you 12x zoom): About a dozen restaurants on each side of this street - none with the same cuisine. I was all set to gorge on either Korean BBQ or Indian food but some of my friends wanted pancakes. At noon. On a MONDAY. :x So adieu to the charming street, and off to Fran's. Can't complain - they had good beer on tap: Filled up and fueled up, we hit the road: Thanks TO, it was fun: I *knew* I forgot something - wouldn't these look nice in downtown Cleveland? From the Burlington Bay skyway (about 30 miles southwest): From a bridge near St. Catharines (about 35 miles southeast): Niagara Falls - note the mist on the right (by the last hotel): Teehee!!! :-D Buffalo's City Hall from the border: Anyone know what this is? No, we did NOT sing "I'm Proud to be an American" - though it was nice to be back stateside: Nice city, nice buildings, skyline - not so much: I like their City Hall better than ours: To borrow a line from Motley Crue: "I'm on my waaaay..." "Just set me freeeee..." "Home sweet home!!!" clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
July 5, 200816 yr And I'm sure you went 90 on I-90. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
July 5, 200816 yr I've taken that drive from Clev to Toronto several times and I felt like I was right there with you with these photos. Great series!
July 5, 200816 yr That's an interesting Buffalo skyline shot... sure, it's not terribly tall... but it's unfortunate that there are no decent vantage points of the Buffalo skyline... even the view from Lake Erie is blocked by some crap along the waterfront
July 8, 200816 yr Looks like you had a great time. Toronto looks like fun and the city sure has grown up from the stodgy place of the 1950s and 60s to the dynamic place it is today. The last shot with the three sisters in Cleveland is very flattering. Really like the bridges and building combo.
July 14, 200816 yr I hate the delay on the NY Thruway that all those Canadians cause trying to get past the tollbooths into Buffalo. We waited for an hour one Thanksgiving....
