By Stephanie Warsmith

Beacon Journal staff writer

The new Akron school inside the National Inventors Hall of Fame will feature clusters of classrooms and labs.

The building will be 80,000 square feet -- 30,000 square feet of renovated space and a 50,000-square-foot addition to the museum.

The state and local share for the project will be about $13.8 million, though project leaders hope to raise more from private sources before the school can open in 2008.
