Nostalgic for the 80's?  If so, you're in luck.  The Columbus-based G.D. Ritzy's franchise might be returning in a rebooted format.  The franchise founder, Graydon D. Webb, is looking to put a brand new Ritzy’s on North High Street in Clintonville.  This one would be called "Ritzy's" (minus the “G.D.” in the original):

Olde Towne Tavern at 889 Oak Street will be celebrating their fifth anniversary next week.  The Olde Towne owners have since branched off with other concepts, like The Walrus in Downtown and Corner Stone Craft Beer and Wine on Parsons in OTE.  But it all started in 2012 when the Olde Towne Tavern joined the neighborhood retail node at Oak & 18th (which also includes Yellow Brick Pizza and the Angry Baker):

When restaurants and bars cluster together to form a community, it means better business for everyone. People are more likely to head to a block with a few options; and, when one bar gets a little too crowded, the others get the overflow. Being patio season, it’s perfect timing for neighboring businesses Little Rock Bar and GoreMade Pizza to open their new outdoor additions, creating a new destination on the Fourth Street corridor.

Delivery-Only Restaurant ClusterTruck Opens Downtown This Month

Everyone is familiar with third-party food delivery. The concept is simple: a hungry person uses their phone to order from a multitude of restaurants through a food delivery service, like DoorDash, GrubHub, or UberEats. A driver from the service stops at the restaurant of choice, snags the food, and brings it to the customer. New-to-Columbus business ClusterTruck cuts out a step, making the food in-house and delivering it minutes off the line.

“We were looking at the Downtown area,” said co-owner Matt Rootes, who partnered with Tony Widman and Craig Chapman to start the company. “We just thought that this area of town needs a kind of a tavern, burger-centric kind of place like us that’s fresh and from-scratch. ^ Love that photo.  That building, the outdoor dining and the new Pearl Market sign all help create a classy urban setting.

Also liked the Irish Gaelic etymology of 'Pub Mahone' from one of the CU commenters(!)
