Posted July 21, 200816 yr Although it has been surrounded by disgusting Cincinnati sprawl, Milford contains a very quaint, historic downtown. I took a detour from the Little Miami River Scenic Trail to grab these pics. There are not too many stations left along the former railroad right-of-way, but Milford's remains as commercial space. The trail ended in Milford until 2006 when it was extended to the Little Miami Golf Center in Newtown; eventually it will work its way down to Lunken Airport and the Ohio River. July 21, 200816 yr There are some pretty nice older residential streets immediate to downtown which are worth taking a look at as well.
July 21, 200816 yr Nice! A lot of preserved history there, and the replacement for the burned building looks impressive.
July 22, 200816 yr ^^...yeah...no. Anywho, great shots. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
July 28, 200816 yr ^ Yep, Old Milford is great. I have several friends that live in this part of town. They can walk or bike to tons of stuff.
July 28, 200816 yr Who would have thought Milford had a downtown. And one in decent shape. and great-looking topography too!
