Cleveland

Part 3

After dropping a friend off at the Akron-Canton Airport (Tuesday, June, 15th), my other friend and I decided to go to Cleveland. We made our way to the Puritas Park-and Ride (I didn't know of any others that were closer). We took the rapid to Ohio City and walked around.

Nick's Diner....they have really good chorizo!

Thanks.

We were going to make our way to Tremont, but my friend was getting tired (no sleep the night before and she wore the wrong shoes for walking everywhere) so we decided not to go. Hopefully I can go there the next time I am in Cleveland.

Thanks!  For some reason I love the Fidrich Bicycle building.

Fridrich's is celebrating their 125th anniversary this year.

Great photos, Andrew.

I love Fridrich's!

I like that you captured Lorain av in your photos. It is really easy to snap w.25th, Franklin, W.Side Market, and Bridge av scene when you do the  Ohio City thing.  Lorain av is sort of like Pearl seriously an artery in and out of the city, and the history and businesses show it, but fewer people want to capture it.

I have crush on Lorain av right now. It is full of great shops and ethnic places from w.25th out into the w 100's. Since I am in scooter world now (since 06), I am off the dreadful highway and getting close and personal with places and people on streets like Broadway, Pearl and Lorain. Loving every minute of it too.

I love Fridrich's, too.

That last photo is phenomenal.

Yay!

I always want to see pictures of the oft talked about business district of Ohio City.  I've seen the West Side Market a million times, but I have never seen any pictures of the actual business district.  For all the talk surrounding OC, this surprises me.

The house that you love--has been in the same family for well over 100 years.

Very good photos; seeing some Ohio City beyond the West Side Market and W 25th Street that's most often photographed is a good thing.

You've seen them (they've been posted), you just didn't know what you were looking at.

I spy my building!

Thanks, I am glad that you all enjoyed my photos.

I wish that I could have spent more time checking out other parts of OC, but my friend was tired and wanted lunch so we just headed back towards Market Square.

no complaints here, nice work...

onto part 2!
