July 25, 200816 yr The requisite post: Toledo, Ohio Population: 300,000 Worst Feature: Most Traffic Accidents Per Capita in the Nation Best Feature: At least its not Cleveland and scrap car parts are easy to come by. While we said at the outset that this list is presented in no particular order, some might question the fairness of listing Toledo following a city with the potential of radioactive mudslides, but those would be people who have never been to Toledo. Bleak, dismal and gray, most residents of Toledo venture out only to go to work, or get drunk, otherwise they spend the rest of their time indoors watching TV and hating the fact that they live in Toledo. An ex-resident that recently had the good sense to move from Toledo had this to say, “… honestly, the people who reside in Toledo are the most intolerant, inconsiderate, ignorant human beings I've ever come across - now bugger off!”
July 25, 200816 yr Cleveland, Ohio Population: 480,000 Worst Feature: Urban Blight Best Feature: Drew Carey Yes its been bashed time and time again. Yes it’s best year was probably 1930, and yes with it’s it gray pallor, closed steel mills and river, so polluted, that has actually caught fire, it is oh so easy to take pot shots at Cleveland – so do you really think we could have left Ohio’s poster child for urban decay off of this list?
July 25, 200816 yr some of this is bull and some so true. Atlantic city is a cesspool. Granted I have not been there for almost 20 years, but 2 blocks off the boardwalk looks like something from the developing world, in the 1920's. I have heard not much as changed
July 25, 200816 yr Paris, France Population: 2 million - but it seems like 20 million Worst Feature: It’s in France Best Feature: OK we’ll give them the Louvre and The Eiffel Tower – but maybe one day they can be moved to Arizona like London Bridge Yeah we’ll get letters on this one. You can keep your romance and “City of Lights” But lets face it Paris is a filth hole. The streets smell of garbage and urine. When it was built most Parisians hated the Eiffel Tour - that's why they named it Eiffel - means Awful in French! It is horribly expensive, it is packed with pickpockets and prostitutes, and to make it all worse there are French people everywhere! July 25, 200816 yr Oh my: Linfen, China is the world's most polluted city. Check out this audio with slideshow to see how nasty it is!!
July 25, 200816 yr Now Milwaukee has the best photo and caption!! HAHA, classic. I completely agree with everything it says about Milwaukee EXCEPT the comment on burnt out buildings dotting the landscape. I've lived in Milwaukee all my life and amazingly I haven't seen ONE burnt out or partially collapsed building. Even 23rd and Keefe, where the Gangster Disciples and the Gay Gang's territories meet, is mostly intact. If a house does get burnt out, the city is quick to tear it down (or sometimes rehab it). Not many places in the city have lost their housing stock either. There are only four blocks that I can think of... http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=43.06036,-87.941662&spn=0.004147,0.008883&t=h&z=17 The rest of the city is fairly intact, and far better than ANY other midwestern city I've been to.
July 25, 200816 yr Now Milwaukee has the best photo and caption!! Heyyyy, that hobo is sleeping on my couch!!

July 25, 200816 yr I will say driving in Toledo can be 'interesting', the total disregard for red lights is simply amazing - perhaps it is the grid with the poorest management of lights contribute to it.

July 25, 200816 yr Although that contains nudity, it isn't obsenity because 1. it doesn't appeal soley to purient interests as judged by a local standard 2. it isn't patently offensive judged by a local standard 3. and it doesn't lack artistic merit when judged by a national standard
July 25, 200816 yr Clearly that Cleveland shot was commissioned by Tetley. Just look at all the teabags!
July 26, 200816 yr I think I know the guy in the pic 2nd from the bottom, closest in view. The obvious question given the picture is "where from"? The obvious answer we don't want to know.
July 26, 200816 yr I think I know the guy in the pic 2nd from the bottom, closest in view. And now you know his left nut too... (unless you were already familiar with it :-o)
