I don't think their is a thread for this yet, so correct me if I'm wrong.  Even as a resident of the westside of Ham. Cty, I have to disagree about moving this to Crosby Twp. area.  I don't know if that would help or hurt the stats.

What do you guys think of either the Banks or dare I say Broadway Commons area??  Discuss

I agree that Crosby Twp would be a bad location for the sole reason of it being so far off the beaten track and so very non-central, both geographically and how the population is distributed.

I think they need to move where land is cheap.  Broadway commons land value would be too high to have the fair without significant corporate cotributions to purchase those damn parking lots.

The Hamilton County Fair is seeking volunteers for the 2009 fair, planned for Aug. 11-15 on the county fairgrounds at 7801 Anthony Wayne Ave.

A list of committees that need volunteers can be found at www.hamiltoncountyfair.com.

This year's fair will be the 154th at the Carthage location.
