I need to replace my CD-RW/DVD drive on my Dell.  Can anybody recommend a good computer parts store where I can buy a replacement and the staff can help me select something compatible for a reasonable price?

Nothing beats Microcenter. Nothing. It's a damn computer mall.

I agree, microcenter is worth the trip to Mayfield Hts...If you don't feel like driving out there I also recommend newegg.com

 

Just make sure you are getting the right connection for the computer you have SATA vs. PATA

I love Microcenter. It's the IKEA of the computer world! (by that I mean size and selection, not quality)

If you need to buy it online, use newegg.  I've bought everything from there.  They will have it to your door in 3 days or less.
