Posted August 8, 200816 yr I took these photos from the offices of DMJM Harris-AECOM, located on the 28th floor of One Cleveland Center (the silver chisel) at East 9th Street and St. Clair. Unfortunately the offices weren't on the southwest side of the building, which prevented views of Terminal Tower and Gateway. But here's the views I could get....... Looking west, with the old Cuyahoga County courthouse in the foreground, and Lakewood's Gold Coast (my neighborhood) in the background: Wide view of North Coast Harbor: Close-up of North Coast Harbor: Erieview Tower: Avenue District loft condo under construction: Avenue District townhouses: Bond Court office tower in the foreground, the federal building on the right and the Sheraton Hotel on the left: Eaton Center: "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
August 8, 200816 yr The Avenue District doesnt look to be much of a district yet...looks to be a lot of 1 story warehouse type buildings and surface lots. Great pics though! It's always nice to get shots from different perspectives.
August 8, 200816 yr "Bond Court Penton Media office tower in the foreground, the federal building on the right and the Sheraton Hotel on the left:" Fixed that for you :-) Regardless, THANK YOU - I've always wondered what the view was like up there. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

August 8, 200816 yr I was thinking the same thing. Nice shots. If that were me taking pics from that high, I would be peeking in peoples windows to take pictures... but I guess thats why I don't have that kind of access.

It's always nice to get shots from different perspectives. The avenue district is less a district and more the name of a new residential project. Read the avenue district thread so you can see what the "district" will look like when complete.
August 8, 200816 yr ^We've been having lots of 'lake effect' clouds lately - that's made for some great lighting/shadows. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

August 11, 200816 yr I always wanted to go to the top floor when I interned in that building. It's a pretty underrated building in Cleveland.
August 11, 200816 yr I love it the when all the lights are on inside of 1 Clev Center, those beams show through the windows and create a design like that on the outside of the John Hancock building in Chicago. I only saw it a few times during the light up nights during the 80's. Does anyone have a pic of this?
