Posted August 8, 200816 yr One Night In Cleveland Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 My friend and I took a two day trip up to Cleveland and spent our first day on the west side. We took the redline from Puritas (which was by our hotel, La Quinta) to West Blvd., walked down Detroit Ave. and made our way to Battery Park. We really wanted to go to the lake, so we walked looking for some type of underpass that lead to it. However, we didn't notice the one in Battery Park. We were very impressed with Edgewater Park After having an awesome time in the park, we decided to head back (this time using the Battery Park underpass, which is need of a major over hall) and made our way to the Gordon Square Arts District. Part 2

August 11, 200816 yr "We really wanted to go to the lake, so we walked looking for some type of underpass that lead to it. However, we didn't notice the one in Battery Park." I noticed this too. In Milwaukee, you can easily walk to the lake from anywhere...similar in Chicago. But I walked a long way looking for any sort of access and found nothing. I asked later in the day, and the little squiggly bike trail is at 72nd St.
