Took my friend to Little Italy (he had never been) and ate lunch. I didn't take any pictures there because I had just done that a couple weeks before. We then made our way up the hill and went into Lakeside Cemetery.

That has to be one of the best, densest skyline angles of Cleveland I've seen.  Very nice work indeed.

I never get tired of seeing that skyline view from the monument. Fill in that gap between the North Point & Erieview towers and that is an impressive skyline (not that it isn't now).

i like the view from off the lake best, but i admit that one is actually better.

The view from the monument was amazing. If you have never been there, you should defiantly pay it a visit. Plus, the guide is really nice and will give you a lot of information.

It is made of sandstone and I always wondered what it looked like when it was new. This isn't the best representation of it but the color was obviously lighter than it is today.

I like the exterior the way it is. Besides, it would cost around half a million dollars to clean the exterior, and it could still become black again. The sandstone used for this tower is from Berea and the stone easily absorbs pollution, which caused the stone to turn black in the first place.

btw, I found all of that out from the guide.

And you call yourself a Clevelander....tsk tsk.
