Too bad whoever owns the Cedar Pub looks like the only one who didn't take advantage of some storefront renovation/beautification project.  Some awning salesman made a fortune in those couple of blocks...

^ lord knows i gave the cedar enough money to renovate it!!

I've never been to Amherst, but I need to check it out. The narrow main street makes for a nice streetscape. And I notice the Main Street organization in the last picture. Amherst is one of four Lorain County towns that have active Main Street organizations through Heritage Ohio.
