here's an oddball for us to chew on. this vinyl-sided development quirk is a new one on me. perhaps a new architectural low? how deep is that low well anyway?  :laugh:

I saw these when they were first going up. I liked the look of what I saw then, but it was without the vinyl siding, so I didn't have the full picture.

 

I really love the metallic look of the vinyl sans warping. The execution, though, is a huge problem. This is obviously not a good material to use for this type of look. It LOOKS like someone just slapped some material on there and called it a day. LOL.

the whole idea of the use of vinyl siding for a structure like this just has me scratching my head in slackjawed shock.

thats vinyl? It look like kind of like warped sheet metel. if it did not look warped it may look fine...hopefully it wears well?  Anyway I keep an open mind to different, even unpopular, materials (except stucco. outside of mexico or new mexico, no good).

I can see where they were going with this, but the choice in material should have been different.  Stainless steel would have been impressive.

Zinc panels would have been much cooler.

I know, I was literally picturing ye old country house sheathing on a highrise building.  I actually wonder what is the tallest vinyl sided structure.
