August 21, 200816 yr No, not at all. I bought a penthouse on the Upper East Side. It's on Sarcasm Ave. I'm assuming you've never heard of it
August 21, 200816 yr Love that first shot, but is that Brooklyn Hts. or the Village because there are two shots of the same block and one is labled "Village" and the other is the first shot which mentions BK Hts. Or I could just be dumb and reading it wrong...
August 21, 200816 yr Ya, I can't get over just how many people there are on that island! When I got off the train at Grand Central (the one under Madison Square Gardens) I swear the amount of people I had ever seen in my life doubled at that very moment!

Actually I think “shopping season” is already here. There seems to be a record number of Eurotourists spending like there’s no tomorrow. The funniest part of it is that they’re trumping (ha ha—pun intended) the big money local crowd when it comes to spending. I read an article in which some local princess (bedecked in typically fashionable designer gear) was miffed when she was given short shrift by the staff in Bergdorf’s shoe department (apparently a regular customer) when some rather “casually dressed” Brits (or were they Germans??) were given preferential treatment due to their much bigger purchase! I love it!! http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/

August 25, 200816 yr I was thinking about how possibly great it would be to use the apple store concept in Cincinnati. Imagine if, when they designed the new fountain square, they built an apple store below ground. It would have created a lot of challenges for engineers but that entire block and more is already used for parking garages and logistics such as garbage collecting for Rock Bottom, 5/3rd, etc underground. I guess some people would say it's too corporate-y but we already have ads there as well as a restaurant on the square. Oh well, too late now.
