Cleveland won this series by 122 points: The most lopsided series in NBA playoff history.

Also the biggest margin of victory in a clinching game in NBA history (I looked it up).

The Land has been one of the nicknames for Cleveland since the mid-90s at least, specifically within the Black Community and within Hip-Hop culture. That along with C-Town, which more people may be fa

  • massive team effort & big win on espn vs okc tonight — awesome game and superb coaching and substitutions — anyway, i watched most of it out, but the end back at our dystopian atlanta hotel - 😂🎉

  • Great win! Six-and-one!! Great to see Garland and Mitchell together for a full game. Those two are going to be magical as they play together more.

From a blowout sweep of the Heat to ... ugh, this.

Down 0-2 after two games, home court advantage shattered.

well, umm, err … lay down or furious comeback series??? 😳

IIRC, the Cavs were down 2-0 to the Pistons several years ago and they ended up winning the next 4 games. Of course that was in the LeBron era. Not sure they are capable of doing that now.

Refs were awful, especially in the final two minutes

well its clear how it is with all the cavs able and healthy to play. the problem always is health is elusive in a long nba playoff series.

Having 16 teams participating in the playoffs is ridiculous. The top 8 would be enough .That would reduce the injury factor. But sadly it will never happen due to the almighty dollar.

Gotta admit, I am kind of reeling from this one. This team was so fun to watch all season and I really thought they were going to go all the way.

Same. Though I did fear that they were not tough enough. We need an enforcer in there. Someone who can dish out some physicality.

I watched the Cavs all season. But I was pretty nervous about the Pacers. They just didn't match up well with them. I didn't watch a single game of the series (in part because my son and I were either at soccer practice or at a tournament).

This playoff loss by the Cavs feels emotionally similar to the MLB strike in 1994-95 season when the Indians had one of their best lineups and the strike wiped out the season.

I think @LibertyBlvd is right about this: The NBA post season has too many teams and games.

bounced by an inferior team.

ugh.

but one the cavs could never figure out all season or now.

I know they are a young team, but this is now the 4th year in a row they have had an early exit from the playoffs. The Cavs seem to be lacking the physical and mental toughness for a deep playoff run. Hopefully, they can work on strength and endurance during the off-season.

Mobley needs to be the first option on offense, or at least a 1b, if they want to win a championship with this group. Mitchell is great but is too much of a shot chucker. Allen may have to go, but not sure who realistically takes his place.

Small world alert: my sister and her boyfriend had a small hippie store in the 70s and 80s in San Diego, it was called The Inner Mission. They sold crystal, books, jewelry, yoga mats....but the vast majority of their business plan was selling "other" stuff that wasn't on display in the store. Anyhow Luke's dad was their best customer. When I was a kid they would always send me Bill Walton autographed everything. For years I really had no idea who the guy even was lol. I kinda wished I could run into Luke sometime and tell him a few of the stories about his dad. They're all priceless.
