April 1, 200916 yr Hickson looked really good out there! Another solid performance from Hickson last night too, DNP - Coaches decision.
April 2, 200916 yr So in light of Charlotte beating LAL and almost beating Boston in Boston, who would you like to face in the first round? I want Chicago for a number of reasons...i think it would be a fun series. That being said, i really hope orlando can snag the 2 seed.

However, in the playoffs, all teams come in with 0-0 records.
April 2, 200916 yr I'll bet anyone here $100 that we don't end up playing the Wizards in the first round again this year. Any takers? :)
April 2, 200916 yr Thank God, if i had to put up with Deshawn Stevenson for another best of 7 series i would jump off the innerbelt bridge.
April 2, 200916 yr I Orlando to face Detroit. Detroit has swept them. However, in the playoffs, all teams come in with 0-0 records. Like when we came into the NBA Finals 2-0 against San Antonio and they downed us in 4 games?

April 3, 200916 yr Way to go Cavs.... losing to a loser like Washington. Maybe they needed a wake up call, er, slap in the face like this. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
April 3, 200916 yr Talk about negativity! I think they are 12-1 in their last 13 games? Not good enough for you? Did you not hear the announcers say the team the Wizards had on the floor is not the team that lead them to their current record?
April 3, 200916 yr Way to go Cavs.... losing to a loser like Washington. Maybe they needed a wake up call, er, slap in the face like this. I agree. It's a needed wake up call. They have been winning but there has been lots of spotty play. They needed to lose to a bad team before the playoffs. I look at this as an opportunity.
April 3, 200916 yr ^I agree. The Wizards were out of their mind last night anyway. Any team can beat any other team in the NBA on a given night. With that said, the Cavs defense was pretty bad last night, but they'll fix that. This team is the real deal.
April 3, 200916 yr man... tough crowd. 18-2 in their last twenty games. Good / Great teams lose to crappy teams all the time. See Orlando's last loss to toronto, or the lakers loss to Charlotte. The cavs played crappy defense. They lost. This was probably also Washington's "superbowl". Tough game tonight. But in the end the regular season in the NBA means absolutely nothing outside of establishing home court advantage. Nothing. It is hard to "bring it" 82 nights a year. Playoffs are a different story.

Did you not hear the announcers say the team the Wizards had on the floor is not the team that lead them to their current record? Yes, and I know that the best we can do this year is 2-2, if not 1-3 verse the 2nd worst team in the NBA, worst in the east.. I don't care that they're a different team, we're the best team in the flippin' NBA!

But in the end the regular season in the NBA means absolutely nothing outside of establishing home court advantage. Nothing. It is hard to "bring it" 82 nights a year. Playoffs are a different story. Agreed - I was listening to a lengthy interview with Steve Kerr at the start of the season when Boston started 25-2 (or whatever) and people were talking about them making a run at the Bulls best record. Kerr basically said "talk to me in March" because the season is so long its hard to get up for each and every game...you lose incentive. They looked disinterested last night, like they just needed to show up to win. If I had an online account or knew someone in Vegas, I'd bet a large amount of money the Cavs embarass the Wizards next week at home. - one of thoese games where LeBron doesn't play the 4th quarter. And I bet they come out strong tonight in a big game against the Magic.
April 3, 200916 yr Give the cavs a break. If they come back and win tonight, it will be a complete wash because we expected them to win last night and lose tonight. I think they will win tonight. A team cant win every game, its just that simple...not in the NBA. The wizards HATE us and obviously have talent on their team. They played like a playoff team last night, and you just have to hand it to them. Even if we lose tonight we will still have the best record in the NBA...relax!
April 3, 200916 yr man... tough crowd. 18-2 in their last twenty games. Good / Great teams lose to crappy teams all the time. See Orlando's last loss to toronto, or the lakers loss to Charlotte. The Lakers have lost 6 out of the last 7 games against the Charlotte Bobcats. Crazy stuff. There is no reason to complain about the Cavs right now. I hope they can knock off the Magic in Orlando tonight.
April 3, 200916 yr I don't mind the loss, but the fact they weren't getting back on defense really irritated me. I think it was in the 4th when the Wizards had like 2-3 easy buckets bc the Cavs were not getting back.

April 4, 200916 yr This game is painful, on a happier note I noticed tonight that the BP building has its lights saying "MVP" on the westward facing side. Not sure if its on both sides. Sorry if someone already posted this
April 4, 200916 yr I thought I was watching the 02-03 Cavs with Ricky Davis, Clearance Weatherspoon, and Lamond Murray. https://www.instagram.com/cle_and_beyond/https://www.instagram.com/jbkaufer/
April 4, 200916 yr I sure hope they clean the Cavs off the floor of Amway Arena before the next event there. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
April 4, 200916 yr I sure hope they clean the Cavs off the floor of Amway Arena before the next event there. LMAO! That was funny!
April 5, 200916 yr OK. Back on track! Win two games and we have home court throughout. I think they will also set a regular season home attendance record.
April 6, 200916 yr ?? At this point, we have to win out to guarantee home court all the way through. We lose the tie breaker with the Lakers and they are 1.5 games behind us right now, and winning by 13 over the Clippers at the moment.
April 6, 200916 yr Nice recovery from the Horror Show in Orlando Friday. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
April 6, 200916 yr Two games that scare me: At Indiana where we already lost this year, and home vs. Boston. Wouldnt it behoove Boston to save the sacred 40-1 that the celtics franchise had in the 80's by beating us in our house. But I think we are too good at home and will win. The Lakers are 1 game back and a tie goes to them, this week is critical.
April 6, 200916 yr ^ If the Cavs have clinched the East by the Boston game, I think they'll come out hard in the first half, but if they're down big, don't expect the starters to be in there the rest of the game trying for the comeback.
April 6, 200916 yr Was the game yesterday and "Flea" from the Red Hot Chili Peppers was there and rooting for the cavs. So was Brady Quinn, who was wearing an indians hat and standing up clapping like the rest of the fans. Im so pumped for playoffs...especially in the later rounds when the stars come back into Cleveland. Remember a couple years ago? Elaine from seinfeld, Drew Carey, Geraldo Rivera, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Randy Moss, Kid Rock, Usher...im sure the list was longer...
April 7, 200916 yr Does Usher still own a minority share? As far as I know, black yoda, does own a minority share.
April 7, 200916 yr Yep. He needs to go to more games. Wrong. No he doesn't. Let that midget stay in ATL.
April 7, 200916 yr Did you have a bad break-up with him? Puh-Lease! I'd sooner give up shopping - I mean cold turkey - than get with him. Ewwwwwwww! Besides he's only up to waist.
April 7, 200916 yr Besides he's only up to waist. Door wiiiiide open....... get your mind out of the gutter. He's an unattractive midget, with a very bad attitude.
April 7, 200916 yr Besides he's only up to waist. Door wiiiiide open....... get your mind out of the gutter. He's an unattractive midget, with a very bad attitude. Just messing with you (in a PG-13 way) before anyone else did. Any word yet if Andy is going to play Wednesday?
April 7, 200916 yr On another note....Wallpaper from cavs.com ;D ;D That is hillarious! Wally's "dry look" & Z's 70s porno hair are a hot mess. They didn't need to photoshop Ben's do! LOL
April 9, 200916 yr Any hard fouls last night? I saw the replay on NBA.com, but didn't see anything dirty.
April 9, 200916 yr No, I don't remember any. I did miss the first half of the 1st quarter though. We looked good. Ben and Andy both brought a lot of energy on the defensive end and crashed the glass hard. Andy came up with a couple of his vintage hustle plays where he swiped an unexpecting big man who was looking for an outlet after a rebound, and Ben chased down a few balls I didn't think he'd get too. It's nice to have them back, especially now that Andy can score a little bit.
April 11, 200916 yr What a good night for the Cavs. We played well, we clinched the east, and the Lakers lost! NBA best record magic number: 2
