ha!

That's one of my preferred cycling routes! I love the pics.

Nice pics.

Nice photos of one of the most picturesque "ghost" streets in America. Few places can boast having this kind of streetscape anymore-I hope Cincinnati recognizes and saves the unique artchitectural treasures it possess. In time, these historic works of art in stone, brick, and wood may help lead a full urban renaissance for the Queen City.

Very few of these are vacant.  The reason the street looks so dead is because 1) there are no people outside at the early morning and somewhat dreary weather and 2) there are no cars parked there due to the temporary no parking signs you can see posted in every picture.  Prospect Hill is in very good shape.

the streets are being ground down, and then resurfaced, to correct the mess made by the utility cuts.  The are alternating from Boal to Milton, so when they work on Milton everyone on Milton moved their car to Boal, etc.

Shouldn't there be cars driving by though? What time were these pics taken? If it's before 8am or something, dead street would be expected anywhere.

Prospect Hill offers just about no cut-through streets due to its location and sees very little traffic as a result.  It's only residents that use those streets really.

Thanks for sharing this stroll...  a very special hour of the day
