That came to a humbling end in the fall of 1984. on the 48 yard line of Ohio Stadium! My brother suffers a broken leg ala Joe Montana and was told he'll never play sports on a college level again. That was the first time I'd seen my father cry. Or my mom. She when ape shit, whe I wasn't class Valedictorian but Salutatorian. Now the cycle starts again, as my brother and father are living out their sports lives thru my 13 year old nephew.

And those are the parents who live on the outskirts and have no care in the world about the city that caused their dwellings to even exist.
