When I move back down to Cincinnati for school next week, I am going to be on the hunt for a used, inexpensive road bike to get around Clifton and the UC area.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to obtain one of these? I'd like to spend maybe $50-100 for just something basic and reliable.

 

Is CL my best option? Any tips, advice, etc. is MUCH appreciated!

I almost bought a used mountain bike off CL for $25.  So yes that is probably your best option, or maybe a yard sale if you see one.

I want one too.

grabbed a nice trek at a garage sale last year for $20.  aside from a small tune-up, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, the owners just wanted to get rid of it.  that or CL is def the way to go.
