Lincoln Park Pub? If you're going to do Tremont, I say we pick a more imaginative place. Hotz's...The Rowley Inn...Tremont Tap House...The Clark Bar...

But I will go with the majority. And I'll be there, ready to jitterbug.

I just decided to pick someplace large and somewhat quiet, hence LPP. They have 25-cent wings on Thursdays, too.

Let's get some more people from the board on board!

I can't argue with 25 cent wings...

CD Cleveland....can't make it the 15th.  From the times i've been to LPP on wing night - it gets pretty crowded and loud...just so you know.

^There's always Lava Lounge - it's right in that same vicinity, with great happy hour specials (until 8pm I believe) and usually pretty mellow on Thursdays.

Is it quieter earlier? Last time I was there I couldn't hear anyone because of the loud music. The big allure there is their incredibly tasty fries, which are 1000x tastier when intoxicated.

^ I used to go there often, and think that that's a pretty accurate assessment.

Who else is coming?  C'mon folks, join in the fun!

Lincoln Park Pub, 2609 West 14th Street (at Starkweather), is the official location of this month's UO Cleveland Happy Hour.

I don't want to commit but I will most likely show up for a beer and some wings.

Every time time I say I'm going to one of these I feel like I curse myself into having to stay late at work that day...but I will try to make this one

I have to be in Columbus for the day.  I may be a little late coming up, but will try to be at LPP at 6:30pm sharp.

If anyone is planning on taking public transit, you can take the 81 (which runs 24 hours) or the 23.

Directions on maps.google.com (select travel by public transit) or, of course, on www.gcrta.org.

And if you have trouble figuring out the directions, feel free to post and ask questions.

Who intends on coming?

I didn't see this until now. I hope to be able to come, but I might cuddle under a warm blanket on my sofa this evening and fall asleep watching television.

Are there any other for-sures? I'm hoping not to sit there crying into my beer alone. I do that on Tuesdays, not Thursdays.

Well, thanks to LittleItalyCleveland and his girlfriend for coming!  We enjoyed the spot by the fire for about an hour and a half, and had a great time.

Let's save the date for Thursday, February 12 for the next happy hour.  Location tba.  Or, would you like to try that Friday the 13th after work this time?

at some point Hoopples should be thrown into the mix. With the Abbey Rd. Bridge reopened it is pretty RTA accessable.

Doesn't look like that week is available to me... same reason as this months.

Who's coming?  Is this a good date or would you guys rather go for a happy hour on Friday the 13th?

^How about anything the following week? The 19th or the 20th?

No can do.  Class.

Sorry, going to the orchestra on the 12th for my friend's birthday.

Anyone have any interest?  :wtf:

^For what day?

I'm going to sort this out.

It seems like no one is coming forward for this Thursday, so unless there are any last-minute takers, we'll cancel or postpone.

Who definitely would come to a UO Cleveland Happy Hour if one took place this month AND it fit within your schedule?  Of those of you who would come, would Thursday the 19th 6:30ish or Friday the 20th 5:30ish work for you?

I would absolutely come on either day

The project that has had me at work late the last couple months is finally ending this week, so after this week any thursday this month is good for me.

Of course!  The one Thursday I CAN make it, it seems as if it is going to get cancelled!!!

I have enjoyed coming to the ones I have attended, but am hard pressed to make  firm committments during the week. I love Hoopples too. No matter when you do it, I will try.

Let's officially postpone the UO Cleveland Happy Hour for this Thursday.

How's this?

I like the earlier start time. I am often VERY ready on friday to start unwinding.

Anybody?

We'll call off for the month if we can't some folks to commit by the end of the day today.

Thanks everyone.  We'll give it another shot in March.  Hopefully the weather will be nicer and more people will have the urge to emerge from hibernation.

Thanks for taking charge, CD. I was all set to come, but I seem to have come down with the plague. Even as I type, my fingers feel like they are falling off.

^Sounds more like leprosy than the plague... (get well soon)

I should be able to come if I am in the country and/or not tied up at work

Does anyone want to try to get together this month?

Yes.  For once my schedule actually looks fairly open all month

I'd be up for it.

could be up for it , depending when as in and out of town for while

Ugh! Busy month, with the Film Fest and Census training. My answer is the same as peabody's,

How's Thursday, March 19th?

Sounds good to me, I actually have jury duty that day so I'll be out earlier than I would normally be with work

I am in mexico, but I will toast y'all

Any others?

Sorry, crazy month.  Big presentation at Lubrizol, leaving the 21st for Salt Lake City for another presentation/conference....  Everything always happens at once :)

Works for me so long as it's PT-accessible.

How's this look?  Do we have enough people to come?
