Ill be there

So AMN and ExSpectator are in and Mayday is a maybe.  I can probably make it if we lock this one in and decide to get together this month.

In.

By the way, I will be a little late since I don't finish work until 5:30. Probably 6ish.

out - sorry (film fest)

Guess what - back in.

See you tomorrow

It's like a UO version of the Hokey Pokey - put your musky in, put your musky out, put your musky in and you shake him all about... :)

Alright, let's do this.  See you tonight.

UO Cleveland Happy Hour

Thursday, March 19, 2009 - 5:30pm

Hoopples, 1930 Columbus Road (at Franklin)

I'll be there, though probably around 6 like AMN.  Thank you cd for organizing.

Thanks to musky, seriouslyeric, exspectator36, AMN, and JP for coming out to Hooples!

Thanks for organizing, it was a good time

I keep wanting to make it to another UO Happy Hour, but I am always either working, or like today, have family in town.  Next time, hopefully.

I was in Mexico this time , but I hope to make one soon. In April I am on the road a lot. Maybe we should do a meet up for river sweep again. I like to to do it around irish town bend -lots of fun stuff to find. It is in early May.

Anyone have any interest in having an UO Happy Hour again this month, maybe next Thursday or Friday?

I am on lockdown until school finishes (May 10, I think).

Me too.  I'm about to disappear for a few months.  I look forward to hanging out after.  The UO happy hour at bar cento was tons o fun.

I could do Wednesday the 15th and would be interested, but Thursday/Friday are out for me.

I could maybe do next thursday but wed and probably fri is out.

I'm game.

I could do wednesday or thursday, friday is out though

this Wed if you go to Johnny Mangos, and present a flyer, 20% of all purchases go to Canal Corridor Riversweep. I can't attach the flyer here, but if people wanted to do this, I could find a way to get the info to people.  I may be there myself with the family. While I am not a fan of the food at Mangos (everyone else is, so that is OK), I will happily go for a good cause. Ohiocanal.org

What about Thursday?

If anyone is interested in doing a happy hour in Old Brooklyn, I know a place that I'm thinking everyone would enjoy.

I could maybe have one...if it were early. (I just outed myself as boring with "one" and "early")

I would attend one thursday. Old Brooklyn would be good, something different (for me at least)

Sorry, guys.  It's been a busy week and I haven't had the spare time nor energy to dedicate to ancillary things.  We'll nix plans for today and shoot for another happy hour soon.

I would be up for an Old Brooklyn Happy Hour next time.

Anyone up for an UO Happy Hour next or the following week?

Next week is very busy (especially later in the week), but the following week would work well for me.

I'm busy next week as well, but the following week would be good

Next week is Cleveland Bicycle Week, and I'm aiming to go to a lot of the events.  So I'd prefer the following week as well.

Bump. Any interest for a July or early August happy hour? I swear I will make it to this one...

Early Aug is the only way I can make it.

Do you think we could get drinks on Greenhouse Tavern's rooftop?  Any takers?

Either Aug 5 or 6 should work for me.

I can't make August 5 or 6.

August 6th is good.  Also, if we do it on E.4th again, Sparx in the City will be going on, which could make things more crowded...which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

August 6th could work for me, too.

I can't make August 5 or 6.

Same here

I can't make August 5 or 6.

Whoa, I thought you said "I can make."  read too fast

I would probably be in for an Aug. 6 outing.

Well, let's say Aug 6th then.

Remember, we can always have more than one date a month if someone likes to lead the way.  I'm just not in town very often nowadays, so I'd really appreciate that date.

Does anyone have any other suggestions besides rooftop of Greenhouse?

Top of Greenhouse sounds cool. To throw out a few more options:

* Academy Tavern in Shaker Square.

* I really want to check out the Waterloo Cafe, the new tavern in an old building in North Collinwood.

* Chuck's Place on the edge of Asiatown.

* Harbor Inn in the Flats

I don't believe the rooftop of the greenhouse is open yet.

Really, this girl I know said she's been up there already and said it has amazing views.  Maybe she just smiled and "worked it" to get up there..??

AMN, those are some great suggestions.  Waterloo Cafe stands out right away, but I'd be happy with any of those.

^Well if we go early evening to the Waterloo Cafe, like 6:30-7:00ish, there shouldn't be too many people there..at least I think so.  I'd call ahead and let them know we're coming too.

Can I have two more votes for Waterloo Cafe on Aug 6th in North Collinwood?
