Posted September 23, 200816 yr On Saturday I organized a group of Cincinnati bloggers to tour a few of the new projects that will be coming on line in OTR in the somewhat near future. Only one of the buildings will be on the Downtown Tour of Living this coming Saturday, but the rest are a peek into the future of OTR. 1. 2. 3. 4. Bloggers walking up Main Street to their first stop... 5. 6. I love this block on buildings along Main Street. The tree really helps frame the beautiful structures. 7. Inside the Good Fellows Hall building that is under renovation. Even the developer (not him in the pic) was in there on the weekend hurrying to get the building ready for soon to be buyers. 8. One of the units inside the building...kitchen to the left. 9. The view out of the back of your unit. 10. Bloggers galore! 11. Nice two-story window 12. Some of the investors, developers, and real estate people were nice enough to join us... 13. Wood beams! 14. Love that window 15. Another view of the kitchen 16. 17. Another unit...same building 18. This one has a lofted second level to it... 19. 20. The view from your front window 21. 22. 23. The penthouse unit (if that's what it's called) is amazing...cathedral-esq. 24. 25. 26. 27. 28. 29. Looking down from the third level to this unit...on your way to your private rooftop deck. 30. ...and the views from that private rooftop deck 31. 32. 33. 34. 35. Alright...back onto Main Street and northward we head to the next one (no pics...wasn't far along to really show anything). But enjoy these lovely Main Street shots instead... 36. 37. 38. Over on Pleasant Street now for the City Home project currently underconstruction. These are single-family townhouses that are being marketed towards families...particularly those who have children attending the K-12 School of Creative and Performing Arts just a couple blocks away. 39. Now we're down on Republic Street (formerly known as Bremen) at 14th Street. This is another condo conversion that is currently underway. 40. Trideca makes me weak in the knees...brace yourself. 41. 42. Welcome home! This is the way you enter your condo...through your large triangular-shaped deck (seen above). 43. ...and the view 44. This building had 6 of 9 units sold before it even hit the MLS...wonder why. 45. 46. Stairs heading to your second level. 47. View of the second level with your bedroom and office and another deck. 48. 49. Your view down Vine Street through your massive two story window. 50. 51. Another unit in the same building...this one has their own private rooftop deck. Here's the view... 52. 53. Second level of that unit 54. View out of the back of another unit... 55. 56. Some nearby businesses... 57. 58. 59. 60. Two bonus Findlay Market shots outside of Market Wines where we went for a very enjoyable beer tasting. 61.
September 23, 200816 yr Thanks for putting this together Randy, it was well worth the walk to finally see these expanse (and expensive) units! I can't wait to own a loft!
September 23, 200816 yr Thanks Randy for putting that together! It was cool seeing all the stages of development. But Jesus did I look fat in that one picture.
September 23, 200816 yr Awesome shots! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
September 23, 200816 yr Here are a couple of bonus shots from the Spaten booth at Oktoberfest. 62. 63. 64. 65. Uhhh
September 23, 200816 yr Great pics. Thanks for posting these. Btw - Is there any story behind the name Trideca? I have a hard time relating it to TriBeCa which is short for Triangle Below Canal St. :wtf:
September 23, 200816 yr Great shots! I've been closely watching the progress of the building at 13th and Vine, so I'm glad to get a feel for the interior.
September 25, 200816 yr Beautiful photos. It's so good to see that area and those buildings finally getting some attention.
