That's happened to other people, too, even some who may never have had hiccups. I read someplace that everyone who eats carrots will die eventually, as will everyone who never eats carrots.

 

I guess a person just can't win.

 

Come to think of it, there was a guy named Charles Osborne in my sophomore year high school phys-ed class.

 

He'd be under seventy now, though, and he didn't have hiccups then that I remember, so it must not have been him. That would've been a shame, 'cause he was really cute as a young guy. Slim, with dark, curly hair and dark brown eyes. Poor Charlie. Oh. Wait. I just said it couldn't have been him. :roll:

That would have been hell. I know I hate when I get hiccups for a whole night.

I just had the hiccups for the past 4 hours. Most intense hiccup ive ever had, too. I just found out I have a Thyroid disease though, maybe that has something to do with it. Still waiting for the doctors appointment.

I am hypothyroid. I've never had hiccups as a result though. Dry skin, yes. Ballooned up to 290 lbs, yes. Cholesterol over 300, yes. Don't worry though, they all regulate once you're on the synthroid. I'm 60 lbs lighter and about 150 pts lower since then. Can't shake the dry skin, though.

^Have you always had dry skin or is the medication just not regulate that? My skin is really dry too and my face is swollen.  Ive been gaining and losing weight rapidly too.  I hate the idea of being on a pll for life though. I wonder if being exposed to black mold in my old apt caused this. I had chronic bronchitis after that. I wish I had proof that I told the apt manager to get rid of it but never did and I was too nieve at the time to realize how bad it is.
