Too bad Cincy only has four parks. :-(

Funny ink, I'll get to the rest of them this Spring/Summer.  Hold me to that.

Well...I'll just pick up the series then...

Eden Park is easily the city's most known park regionally as it contains Krohn Conservatory, Playhouse in the Park, and the Cincinnati Art Museum.

From the City's website (http://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/cityparks/):

[Eden] park was named after the Garden of Eden, as it was called by Nicholas Longworth, who owned most of the land in the mid-19th century. eden Park currently comprises 186 acres, which the City began to acquire in 1859 for the purpose of providing a new reservoir. landscape architect Adolph Strauch, designer of Spring Grove Cemetery, prepared the initial landscaping plan for Eden Park.

...

Eden Parks Krohn Conservatory is a nationally recognized  showcase of more than 3,500 plant species from all over the world.  The Palm, Tropical, Desert and Orchid houses exhibit permanent displays of exotic plants in natural settings, complete with a 20 foot rainforest waterfall....The present Conservatory was completed in 1933.

Great shots of Eat 'N Park!

Thanks Ink!  I have been severely slacking for a number of reasons lately.  I'm glad you have picked up where I left off though.  Keep up the great work.

Fantastic.

I love Eden Park!! I think you should do Alms next, and maybe Ault again, as it is Cincinnati's best park IMO.

I wish Eden Park had operating concession stands. It would be great to go there and get food and drinks before hanging out at one of the overlooks.

Great pics, btw.

They do! In the summer and spring there is a concession stand near the lower of the two overlooks.  They have nachos, snow cones, hot dogs, etc.

Well they're never open when I'm there

nice overview.

boy those were the days, even the public bathroom is nice

unfortunately every time i think of eden park i think of a scene there from this disturbing popular 80's book called 'warday.' it's about two reporters who travel around after a usa/ussr war. it's a pretty haunting book if you like that kind of thing:

How about Mount Storm Park?  I used to go there as a youngster.

Great park and classic architecture - thanks for the pix.

.. where I can find this ..

It is at the overlook with the pond, just north of Krohn.
