Nice to see all the construction going on. Dayton has some really good features in its river setting, environmentally-friendly trolley buses, and a great art museum. I'd love to see its downtown become lively again; the downtown residential developments should help, if they can get people to embrace them.

Good photos. The Avis shot prompted my brain to pop up with "AVIS with EIFS". It struck me as funny, but maybe it's because I'm still half asleep.

Beautiful shots!

Good things are in the works for Dayton.  As rob mentioned, Dayton received a massive jolt of luck in keeping around those trolley busses.  They're now a few steps ahead of most cities.  Let's hope the residential parts of downtown pick up before the Arcade is a total loss.

Fantastic! It looks as if it is starting to turn around for Dayton.

I love the parking garages with the street-level retail.  For any city that needs more parking and wants more pedestrian traffic, I think those are the way to go.  Nice shots. I don't know much about Dayton, but it looks like a lot is going on.

Coldayman, you gotta take me by these :)

indeed good stuff is happening. thx for the update.

Dayton is a fighter...that's for sure.  Thanks for the pics.

I like that mentality.

Dayton should be a mascot.  Like the Kansas City "Citizens of Dayton" or something like that.

I'm likin' what happenin'. Now for the rest of town.....

As long as i have to live here (Kettering, actually), any improvements are going to get my approval. And to think it wasn't too long ago when people were fighting tooh and nail to prevent Uno's to come in. The "we need to be a ghost town" mentality is leaving.

Whoa, I've been away too long.  I don't think I realized that garage was happening at First and Main.  With street-level retail to boot!  Nice.

Thanks for the photos!
