I just moved to Lakewood Ohio and I am looking for a good dentist.  Any recommendations would be appreciated. I would prefer a dentist that uses nitrous oxide as well, but that is not a deal breaker.  Thanks.

If you're willing to travel to North Olmsted, my dentists there are excellent.  My mother lives in lakewood and I referred her to them and she says they're worth the short drive (it's about 20 mins to N.O).  Drs. Simko & Haritonovich, they are on Lorain road (google them).

My wife uses Dr. Linda Hippler on Detroit in western Lakewood.  She loves it there.  I still drive out to Medina to my childhood dentist.

 

I did have my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Urban Pichard, and it seemed like a good place.  It was on Madison.

I know this is no where close but my dentist on Chagrin, in Beachwood/Shaker, is very very good.  And the best thing about him is his name... Dr. Smilovitz, he was born to be a dentist.

Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Hudec & Associates.  They're somewhat of a local dentistry chain and have branches all over.  They will actually create problems in your mouth for themselves to repair.  There are more than a few others who would agree with that statement.

 

Dr. Gary Hermann on Detroit in Lakewood is excellent. I went to him for eight years before I moved downtown.

if you work downtown, I have a dentist who is very good and doesn't look for extra things to do to your teeth. It is so convenient to have your dentist downtown if you work there.

I actually work down in Brecksville..  Live in Lakewood..  Willing to travel a little bit for a good dentist...

Haha Jax - I just realized that my dentist's last name also starts with "H"!  Too bad I'm moving or I'd stay with him.  Anyone know/recommend a cosmetic dentist near Portage County?  I need some bonding done!
