Posted September 30, 200816 yr I just moved to Lakewood Ohio and I am looking for a good dentist. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I would prefer a dentist that uses nitrous oxide as well, but that is not a deal breaker. Thanks.
September 30, 200816 yr If you're willing to travel to North Olmsted, my dentists there are excellent. My mother lives in lakewood and I referred her to them and she says they're worth the short drive (it's about 20 mins to N.O). Drs. Simko & Haritonovich, they are on Lorain road (google them).
September 30, 200816 yr My wife uses Dr. Linda Hippler on Detroit in western Lakewood. She loves it there. I still drive out to Medina to my childhood dentist. I did have my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Urban Pichard, and it seemed like a good place. It was on Madison.
September 30, 200816 yr I know this is no where close but my dentist on Chagrin, in Beachwood/Shaker, is very very good. And the best thing about him is his name... Dr. Smilovitz, he was born to be a dentist.

October 1, 200816 yr I just moved to Lakewood Ohio and I am looking for a good dentist. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I would prefer a dentist that uses nitrous oxide as well, but that is not a deal breaker. Thanks. Dr. Brad Hylan on W 117 -- 3447 W. 117.
October 1, 200816 yr Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Hudec & Associates. They're somewhat of a local dentistry chain and have branches all over. They will actually create problems in your mouth for themselves to repair. There are more than a few others who would agree with that statement.
October 1, 200816 yr Dr. Gary Hermann on Detroit in Lakewood is excellent. I went to him for eight years before I moved downtown.

October 2, 200816 yr if you work downtown, I have a dentist who is very good and doesn't look for extra things to do to your teeth. It is so convenient to have your dentist downtown if you work there.
October 2, 200816 yr I actually work down in Brecksville.. Live in Lakewood.. Willing to travel a little bit for a good dentist...
January 20, 200916 yr Haha Jax - I just realized that my dentist's last name also starts with "H"! Too bad I'm moving or I'd stay with him. Anyone know/recommend a cosmetic dentist near Portage County? I need some bonding done!
January 21, 200916 yr Anyone hear anything about Dr. Lance McGannon? he was my dentist as when I was a kid. He does a very good job, but i didn't care for his political opinions.
