October 10, 200816 yr Awesome...I was at the rally in Cincinnati a little later in the day. We were not allowed to bring in SLR cameras, but I still got some pics with an inferior camera that I'll be sharing later.
October 10, 200816 yr I think you were allowed to bring in any camera type you wanted, although I just had my tiny little camera. The only thing they said not to bring were bags, signs or banners and to limit personal items.

When I went to the rally in Milwaukee (the day McCain suspended his campaign the first time for Gustav) we were allowed to bring in whatever we wanted (except firearms) but we had to prove that our cell phones were operational by turning them on and pressing a few buttons. They made no mention of my camera, a Sony CyberShot, which was turned off.
