Posted October 16, 200816 yr :-) Anyone have Joe the Plumber work for them? LOL @ him being the most famous plumber since...Ralph Cramden? Mr. Furley? I can't even name a famous plumber.
October 16, 200816 yr What I find funny about this whole situation is that "Joe the plumber" is upset for the fact that he will be taxed more for being in the $250,000 a year range. So based on this, his decision moves him for a vote for John McCain. This is the same man who just last week announced the establishment of a "right to work" bill for the entire country, which will put a strangle hold on almost all building trades which I'm sure "Joe" is part of. So, his $250,000 won't be taxed but after four years, he'll have more competition than he can handle and won't even come close to making $250,000 a year. So, Joe needs to keep up to date with the other thing McCain is saying before he makes a judgement on who to vote for. Trades for Obama

Trades for Obama I find it simply amazing that anyone in the hard-hit areas of the nation would even consider McCain. If Joe is making 250k in Toledo, he is doing damn well for himself, but giving the state of this economy he won't continue to so well for long.
October 16, 200816 yr They were saying on the radio this morning that there was no voter registration for someone with this name. Not sure if that's fact or fiction, but it would be amusing if it were fact after he was brought up so many times in the debate last night!
October 16, 200816 yr In an Obama/Biden administration, Joe the Plumber would enjoy an increase in sales and profit due to the fact that the majority of Americans would have more disposable income to pay for his company's services.

There is all kinds of dirt being dug up on this guy now, naturally. He apparently actually owns several businesses already (so is he really "middle class?") and people are investigating the rumor that he is related to another guy with the same last name who was Charles Keating's son in law.
October 16, 200816 yr http://blog.cleveland.com/openers/2008/10/joe_the_plumber_is_really_a_sa.html Linda Howe, executive director of the Lucas County Board of Elections, said a Samuel Joseph Worzelbacher, whose address and age match Joe the Plumber's, registered in Lucas County on Sept. 10, 1992. He voted in his first primary on March 4, 2008, registering as a Republican. "Ms. Howe said that the name may be misspelled in the database." Public records databases examined by The Plain Dealer, including those for voter registration, indicate that Samuel Joseph Worzelbacher (note the "o" instead of the "u"), with the same street and age as the now famous Joe the Plumber, voted in 2002, 2005 and 2007. But he listed the Natural Law Party as his party.
October 16, 200816 yr Dear God @ Rush Limbaugh saying "Joe the Plumber" over 9,000 times on his show. Basically, the Plumber was a Republican plant who got Obama to say something that the Republicans can hammer. I always have to LOL @ talk radio calling Obama a socialist while there guy Bush pretty much reconfigures the US economy toward socialism. Why is socialism Ok for the rich but not the poor? That's what I don't get.
October 16, 200816 yr I wish I could hire Joe Plumber and Joe six pack and all of "my friends" to teach Sarah that the word is nuclear...not nucular!!!! Gotta love the catch phrases, scripted responses, mean spirited attacks, and the non thought out and non descriptive answers.... PLEASE vote OBAMA!!!!
October 16, 200816 yr They added a "Joe's Plumbing" van outside the window on www.palinaspresident.com, lmao.
October 16, 200816 yr JtP=no plumbing license. :) So, pretty much he's an actor hired by McCain campaign. Partly kidding, but if you are going to call yourself a plumber, wouldn't help to actually be one?

So based on this, his decision moves him for a vote for John McCain. Based on how he feels about other issues, he was already a Republican to begin with. No loss here.
