ok. We will keep it kind of simple (but since the picture is taken over the neighborhood please note it is the neighborhood featured not necessarily the neighborhood where the Pic was taken)

The Marina District in San Francisco.

This might be an easy one, but here goes...

Dude that could be anywhere lol Victorian Farmhouses are a staple of the midwest and beyond. Those windows are definitely curious though.  I like all the vegetation and attention to detail. The lot seems a little too big for Ohio City, Cleveland but that's my random guess.

That is a flippin' cute house, but I don't know where it is.

Flippin'?  What is this, Leave It To Beaver?  Gosh!

No, not Ohio City, but it is in Ohio. I'll add these...

German Village?

German Village?

EDIT:  1 f'in second.  Seriously, David?

They are red x's here at work but I'm going to guess Mansfield.

Yes, David, it is German Village. Sorry Hts, and CDM posting pics of Mansfield would go against the rules :D

If it's GV you can have it lol That first picture doesn't look like German Village though. Maybe Marion Village. The alley behind Thurman Cafe is the border between the two. It's easy to get them confused.

Edit: Hts post a pic.

Oh bah!  When I get home, I was expected to be surprised by the Richland County Courthouse or the Chedder's near that mall!

Well, the house (1st pic) is right across from Schiller Park (Jaeger St), so I assumed that was still German Village.

Go Hts!

The German Village gives more orgasms.

This one may be a bit tough, but there are some clues for those who have visited the area -

Downtown Greensboro, NC?

Man... that was fast.  Yep.  It is D-town Greensboro.  I went to college a few blocks from there.  Nice mid-size downtown.  Major improvements during the time I was there.  You're up again Andrew.

Well, here goes...

I'll add this to help.

Washington, DC  15 & M Street to be exact!

Really like that second building.

Washington, DC   15 & M Street to be exact!

Yes, but you only gave the location of the second building. What section of the city are these buildings in?

That's what I would consider Downtown DC.

Ok, MTS, you're up.

MTS is too slow.  I'm taking his turn...

Oh crap I forgot.  Wait, I know that bakery!

Not fair, I guess, with no hints since it is such a small and limited shot.  Clue: it is in the Cleveland metro..... east side, of course

^Shaker Circle? ;)

^Wow...you're brave.

^Shaker Circle? ;)

^You know what happens to him at the end of the season right? Well, consider me Sookie. So, watch out botch.

No..No...thats not the question sweetie, the question is what happens in the first two episodes for next season!  ;)  You're going to gag! Anyway, I figure you for the Sookie type!

Anyway, I would still eat you and eat your children!

^Haha, can't wait, but I bet Sookie will prevail. As for that last part, that's just wrong.

Getting back on topic, is it in Shaker Heights?

Noble and Roanoke to be exact.  Growing up for me, that was the neighborhood corner/candy store (1970's/80's style mini-mart) in the front half.  Then it had a diner bar (no tables) in the back straight out of that famous Norman Rockwell painting of the runaway kid and the police officer.  Nothing special on the menu, but I remember the shakes being popular.  I can't seem to remember the name, though.  Sounds like Ruck-a-sins.  That space has been through so many changes since then, with a video store probably holding the longest tenancy.  The bakery/cafe in the picture seems like it has settled in.  Too bad CVS gobbled up 4x the space Revco used and ripped out half that strip.

I ONLY knew that because we went past there about a month ago.  I thought it was Taylor for a minute.

But we already know the answer, Mr. Predictable. ;-)

This should be opened up to foreign cities. So long as the architecture is sufficiently unique to figure it out.

Not really....I was looking for something south of the border.  I thought that it increase your chance at a correct guess.

I don't do south of Akron, sorry. You'll have to find somebody else to recognize the location of the shack by the river where you grew up. :-)
