GALLATIN COUNTY - The developers of a new motorsports facility for sports car and motorcycle enthusiasts have given it a new name as the project continues toward a "soft opening" in the spring.

what kind of paving would they use to build a new track like that? concrete? asphalt?

My friend went there over the weekend -- they were hosting a large meet -- and they were still doing the grading. I believe he mentioned it would be layered in asphalt.

Asphalt, definitely. There are few, if any, permanent concrete road courses in the world.
