this is from wed 8/17/05. i thought this might be a good bookend to our recent dayton dragons game. i'm sorry i did not take any shots on the way over, those are the best views of course but we were chatting. oh well the si ferry ride is prob a thread all its own for another time.

 

the stadium is right next to the ferry terminal (fyi the ferry ride is free, a must-do in nyc)

I saw the STATEN ISLAND YANKS AND THE BROOKLYN CYCLONES EACH PLAY VS. THE MAHONING VALLEY SCRAPPERS I THINK IN LATE JULY...

i've seen them both play the scrappers too. i even purposefully went to those games to check'em out. i hope you get a chance to take some shots of the mv scrappers baseball stadium, i'd like to see it!

 

So who from the Staten Island team will be playing in Columbus shortly?

looking at the website i remembered kyle larsen is a really big and tall .300 hr hitter at 1st. hard to tell with the limited pitch count thing, but berg and conway are ironman pitchers with decent era who might you might see.

if you go down jersey street to victory blvd, you can see the projects where wu-tang clan is from, u god, cappadonna  still live there now, i met them, they cool cats they let you come thru the projects and you can kick it with them like they knew you for years
