Nice shots!! .... I still miss the NY spaghetti house, the brown sauce was amazing and it used to be sold at Heinin's as well, wonder if they still sell it.

yeah, it's a shame about the spaghetti house. ah well. on the positive side, e4th sure is a lot more developed now.

Ctownrocks - I just picked up a jar of the brown at Rego's in Westlake a couple of months ago, so it's still being made as far as I know.

Good to hear, I loved that sauce. I just have to find the closest place to Old Brooklyn that has it. Also does anyone know what they are doing with that spaghetti house, when they first closed it I thought they said it was being turned into a bar / restaurant or something. I didn't want to start a whole new thread on it, so sry if this is too off topic.

 

On another side note, since mrnyc was the original poster, was wondering if you are the same mrnyc on chowhound.com when you responded to that idiot who said Cleveland has no good food scene and bashed Lola.

^ yeah, ch is one of my other main forums. i'm almost an original member, i go back to the 90's on there. that was quite a thread, no? btw the cleve has been rather quite on chowhound lately, maybe you could post about some new food news?

You will see me on there shortly :). Me and my friends have planned to go to a different restaurant in Downtown weekly, although I would love to go more often, with the first one being Brasa. So I'm sure I'll have plenty to say, so far so good!
