Well, I did a search and it seems that this topic has not come up yet.  In case you have not heard yet, Stephen Colbert had a bit on his show where he renamed Canton "Hitlers a**crack, Ohio".  I was surprised at the reaction down here, it seems people don't get the fact that he is a comedian, I personally thought it was hilarious.  Has this been a topic outside of Hitler's A**crack?  Here is a link to the video... I think if anyone in Canton took the time to actually watch it, they may get the joke.

People need to learn how to take a joke.

 

I remember when Jon Stewart said "Can we all go back to forgetting about Ohio?" after the last election. Wasn't a big deal.

For accuracy... Hoover wasn't based in Canton, OH, they were based in North Canton, OH; a completely different city. HILARIOUS video none the less.

I've been DVRing Colbert the last couple months because of his election jokes, and I'm surprised it took theis long for him to get around to Canton OH. It's just a joke people. Sheesh.

the tv topper is the early simpson's episode where homer gets in a popular barbershop quartet band and they go on tour. when the get to ohio, the road splits in half to go to cincinnati or cleveland. so they do a 180 and drive away. owwwch....but funny!

I love the news article's comments.  There are some enraged people out there in Canton.  Apparently thay didn't watch the actual video...you know the one where he spend 2/3 of his time justifying why he's about to trash "the good Canton."
