Posted November 5, 200816 yr The weather was amazing last weekend and after class I wanted to get outside and enjoy it. So, I got my camera and took some picture around campus. However, I forgot that it got dark earlier, so, I didn't get very far :-D. On Sunday, I went out again, but those pictures will be posted separately. November 6, 200816 yr Love the autumn light! That's a nifty powerhouse. The old freshman dorms are .. different. Brutalism in brick?
November 6, 200816 yr The freshman dorms slated for demo... were they formerly known as "Small Group?" (I often heard them referred to as "small world" because they were so isolated, when I was there.) The Eastway complex is also very different from when I was there. (graduated in May 2000)
November 6, 200816 yr Boy mid to late 20th Century architecture was not kind to us. Thanks for sharing these though, I never really seen or experienced Kent State's campus before.
November 6, 200816 yr MTS - I don't think anyone actually eats there. Rob - Whatever it is, it is depressing and reminds me of a communist country. JRC - Yea, they are also known as small group. UncleRando - Your welcome.
November 6, 200816 yr LovesIt - See other Kent State threads for a full representation of Kent State.
November 7, 200816 yr ^I've been to Kent State numerous times, I just feel like it's not as picturesque as some other Ohio schools.
