Soooo, after not having been in many years, I finally made it back to "the happiest place on earth" with the mister and some friends  :-D.  It was a fabulous time!  I don't host pics online outside of facebook, so here is just a small taste of my lots of pictures (and a couple especially for MayDay).....

1.  A giraffe on the Animal Kingdom Safari

2.  Overdramatic telenovela-esque pose outside the dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom

3.  A dragon made entirely of lego blocks at Downtown Disney

4.  The Epcot ball and a pretty blue sky

5.  The Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights at Hollywood Studios

6 & 7.  Waiting in line for the new Toy Story ride at Hollywood Studios (Mr. PotatoHead sings, dances, and does stand-up comedy!)

8.  Fantasia - the shrubbery edition.

9 & 10.  We all know who that is.

11 & 12.  They "iced" the castle for Christmas.  It was absolutely gorgeous.  The pictures don't do it justice.

13.  Minnie and Mickey close out the "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party" parade.

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawd.

Lord only knows what MayDay is going to do with that picture.

Ohhh, bless your heart for thinking of me!!! :-)

Hehe, they had a whole window display in the villains store - full body and the spinning wheel and everything.  Unfortunately it was just that - a window display with lots of glare - so I could only get what I could fit in the picture when I pressed my camera up against the window.  I actually just now noticed that there's a carving of dragon Maleficent on the rear wall between her horns.....

Great shots!

nice shots

Theme parks are geared towards creating an escape from reality.  There is no better example of this than Walt Disney World.  Thanks for the pics.

Very Cool. I've always wanted to go to Disney World or Disney Land!

Escape from reality with a bunch screaming kids?  No thank you.

I'm so glad my nephews and nieces are over "disney".  That tea cup ride ain't all it's cracked up to be!  :-P

lol..

Is that you?

Nice pics. The safari looks like a lot of fun.

Yes, that is me :)

Say want you want about the modern Disney company and it effects on well...everything but I still find DisneyWorld and the history and romanticism that surrounds the original Disney dream/products very neat.

I agree - that's why the Magic Kingdom is still the best park!!!

Haha wow.. you even bought a Disney bag.. they got to you..

Oh, no no.  That was a Mickey sticker that they had given us inside the mesh pocket of my purse.  I bought plenty of other things though, lol.

So you admit to being a slave to the Disney machine?  :-P

fun - & you put the disney back in disneyfication!

I never got to go to Disney World when I was a kid. I feel like I was robbed of my childhood! I want to go now.

You can go now.  Buy yourself some ears and have at it.  Hell you can have my MM ears!

That warm weather looks so enticing!  Just to think that we in Cleveland won't be able to walk around without a coat for at least three full months.

Great shots, doc.
