My cousin and I pretty much live for the 24 hour Christmas Story marathon on TBS every year, haha. Has anyone seen the Christmas Story play at the Playhouse?? Were debating on whether or not we should go see it this year

well besides a christmas story the songs are pretty easy too: christmas wrapping & 2000 miles. haha cleveland owned christmas related pop culture in the 80's!

 

actually, my real fav for christmas is a charlie brown christmas.

^^The soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas, by Vince Guaraldi, is definitely my favorite Christmas music.  Not just good Christmas music, it is actually good music, a rare combo.  It's very atmospheric and melancholy, Christmas in an oft minor key.

"O Holy Night" from Celine Dion or "Christmas Eve Serejevo" from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. 

 

"It's a Wonderful Life", "White Christmas", and "Christmas Vacation" round out my top three favorite Christmas movies.

...yeah, I'm catching up on long-ago missed threads today!  I'm 100% with David on this - what a great song!  And for a movie, the movie that I learned this song from - Love Actually.
