December 21, 200816 yr Luxury shopping on Euclid, Prospect and Huron Avenues and a blessed, safe and happy holiday season and new year to you all.
December 21, 200816 yr Wow big ideas everyone. In this case, I would like a new skyscraper in downtown columbus and infill in all the ugly parking lots. Merry Christmas everyone!
December 21, 200816 yr We got a big tv. I didn't ask for it or really want it, but whatevs. Peace would be nice, too.
December 21, 200816 yr I don't really want anything for christmas. Sure there are tons of things that I want or would be nice, but nothing I really really want.
December 21, 200816 yr I don't really want anything for christmas. Sure there are tons of things that I want or would be nice, but nothing I really really want. Yeah, that's how I've felt over that last 10 years or so. Christmas is just another day to me.
December 22, 200816 yr ^me too. Not into material things I cannot afford, and for the moment the people I care about are safe and sound. So I am pretty fortunate and wish for nothing right now. I hope you all get what you want though! :-)
December 22, 200816 yr A beater saxophone so I can learn to play. Don't expect to get one though because it's too complicated of a gift, i.e. not available at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, or Wal*Mart. Santa just ain't what he used to be.
December 22, 200816 yr to be credit card debt free would be nice! Also wouldn't mind a trip to South America...

I hope you all get what you want though! :-) Hear..Hear! The only thing I "wish" for is that my brother would divorce my skank-in-law. I've been asking since the early 90's. Santa don't you hear me?
December 22, 200816 yr my flights to get me to Oregon for Christmas. I'll settle for Seattle even, but currently I'm sitting in Orlando.

Santa don't you hear me? so what is the deal- is she mean to you or your brother?
December 23, 200816 yr so what is the deal- is she mean to you or your brother? We haven't gotten along since 1987! We HATE each other! We hate each other more than Oil hates water, the Browns hate the Steelers or the OSU hates Michigan. She tried to turn me out in college and back stabbed me on an economics project and "outed" me but I was like whatever. Then when I came home from college my brother brought this girl to dinner and I was full on gagging when it was her. I didn't say anything cause I figured he would just play with her and toss her aside, like the others. Then when he proposed at a dinner at my parents, he asked me why am I sitting there with my mouth open. All I could say was, "she isn't good enough for you and I refused to be apart of the wedding" and that, "I'll "speak my peace" when that time comes!" He asked me to try to get along with her but by that time she'd crossed my cousins and we're a very tight knit family. After the wedding, she did several things at my parents house that were rude and disrespect full, which cause them to be asked to leave. So out of the kindness of my heart and a lot of lobbying by my Ex, I agreed to let my brother and her live with me. They lived with me for five years until moving back into my parents home as my apartment was a little tight for 7 people and the kids needed a backyard. It just been a nightmare of crap over the past 17 years. She once told me that I was forbidden to see my nephews and nieces. Pissed of my brother and i thought that was going to end it. But then told her shed better never say that again or their marriage would be over and that in the event that anything happened to him, I would be the person entrusted to raise his children. Secretly, I think she hates the fact that my oldest and youngest nephews look like me and my oldest niece looks like my mother. We haven't spoken to each other since 2000. When we're at my parents house we speak Spanish since the kids and my brother speak. When I go to their house, I speak Spanish. Am I the only person that hates their in laws?
December 23, 200816 yr goood lord. You hated her BEFORE your brother met her? That is is awful. So it is the real deal not some weird Greek tragedy situation where you were jealous of her or something. She sounds dreadful. Of course everyone knows the more you bitch about an in law the closer and longer it drives a loved one to them. One day your brother may need you. He is probably crushed about this situation As far as in laws, I somehow have great step kids. There is certifiable kookiness on both my side and spouses side of family, but thankfully we both acknowledge that and turn to each other to be in denial about it.
December 23, 200816 yr so what is the deal- is she mean to you or your brother? Am I the only person that hates their in laws? Surely you jest.
December 23, 200816 yr so what is the deal- is she mean to you or your brother? Am I the only person that hates their in laws? Surely you jest. Oh good...then I'm not alone. I'm not talking "dislike" I'm talking full on HATE!

There is certifiable kookiness on both my side and spouses side of family, but thankfully we both acknowledge that and turn to each other to be in denial about it. Jealous of her? Oh hell no! I wouldn't give her the satisfaction. She doesn't exist to me. My mother has already warned me there will be no fighting this year. My brother and I don't discuss her. He knows better to even mention her in my presence. She and I haven't spoken since my nephew was born and he's going on Nine. I don't think I've said her name since they got married. Ever since the McCain goof, my family refers to her as "that one". lol Well we don't talk about it since she doesn't exist to me. She just knows that she better never try to stop the kids from seeing me, bad mouth me in front of them or let her family say one thing about me. Besides, she makes more than my brother, so if they ever divorced, she'll have to pay him child support because she'd be the one leaving. I hold a "golden parachute" plus I know ONE secret about my skank-in-law nobody else knows. I'm an armed and dangerous b!tch. I play to win.
December 24, 200816 yr tell us the secrets. I want to hear them.lol sadly the world is sexist. This hurts women in every way. EXCEPT in child custody. then the women can be a drug using, neglectful, whore of babolon, and the guy will almost never win. 'cause women make better parents (they have uterus' I guess) Since I never had kids I never got to test this area of female domination

If she don't leave, then my brother and kids will be going to my parents house and their house will be sold. When I spill the beans on my "secret" she won't be able to say anything but "OK". Nobody phucks with my family, especially my brother, since he's the only sibling I have. My nephews and nieces are like my children. Mess with them and you'll be swimin' with the fishes.
December 7, 200915 yr I'd like all our credit card debt to be wiped out with a magic wand. I want the same thing this year as I did last year, only I want it more. If I had it, I could stay home with our baby. :(

December 9, 200915 yr A king size bed and bedroom furniture so the mister and I can actually share a bedroom like a normal couple!
December 9, 200915 yr I'm Irish, all it takes is some beer. For Christmas I just want some free time to finish rewiring the first floor of my house so I can get some insulation blown in. Realistically, I'd settle for beer and a nap.

What are you two, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo? Not by choice! We conslolidated from two apartments, and I'm still a poor graduate student. It's not always comfortable to sleep two in a double bed, and there isn't enough closet space for the both of us in the master bedroom without having furniture too.

December 9, 200915 yr A king size bed and bedroom furniture so the mister and I can actually share a bedroom like a normal couple! What are you two, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo? Come on, if you're going to reference an old TV show in a joke at least get it right. Lucy and Ricky were allowed to share a bed because the actors were actually married.

Do your homework. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0043208/trivia Although they slept in twin beds throughout the entire run of the series, during the first two seasons of the show, 1951-1953, Ricky and Lucy slept in twin beds that were pushed together in the same box spring. Once little Ricky was born CBS suggested that the beds be pushed apart to diminish the impact of the suggested sexual history of Lucy and Ricky. The only time we see the Ricardo's in two bed pushed together again is when they first move to the bigger apartment in the Mertz building, however, subsequently after that the beds are pushed apart again.
