What happened to 327, and why isn't he running? 

 

327 is visiting his mistress in South America.

 

But before embarking he moved into Cleveland city limits and voted against Frank Jackson.

 

Jackson has been mediocre, scoring on some drives but fumbling badly on too many others.  This administration's priorities are amiss.  Cleveland needs a more aggressive approach to development, and it needs a more coherent plan with a more coherent spokesman.

Sounds great - but apparently any event mentioning "sustainable" is prohibited from mentioning public transit options :roll:

Duly noted Mayday, I will pass this sentiment on to the Mayor's Communication staff and see if we can get a link to RTA or even a route link for every event, sustainability related or otherwise.  That being said, please don't let our transit insensitive invitation keep you from attending an event that will have great updates on projects that a lot of people on the forum are interested in!

Ewoops, sorry to raise another concern, but the map on that invite appears to be wrong ... at least on my operating system and browser, it's directing people to go to like Lakeside and E. 28th-ish, rather than to North Coast Harbor.

The map is pointed directly on a Conrail line, perhaps they are tring to encourage rail usage? :)

Does Bill Patmon have ANY chance against Jackson in November?

I hope not.

I've only heard Bill Patmon speak when he was running for mayor a while back; I don't know much about him other than his campaign literature. He seemed articulate, but aside from what he's done in his immediate area, I think he has a lot of work to do to develop any relevance citywide.

If I still had a vote in Cleveland, I would be very disappointed in the only two choices.

So, Mayor Jackson and his entourage and some other people were just in our house during the walk tonight......  We have a projector with a 92" screen, and they made us turn it on so they could see the picture, lol.  More docbroc media blitz coming soon apparently........  We had about 5 cameras shoved on our faces at all times!  I felt like a celebrity!  Lots of cameras and a HUGE police and DCA escort service! 

If I still had a vote in Cleveland, I would be very disappointed in the only two choices.

Hahaha, I think it was just all the "TV20" people.  They just had multiple cameramen there.  And yes, the Mayor does these neighborhood walks every once in a while.

Yep, in the second pic with the mister.  I look awful, lol.  I had a horridly busy day at work, and then I got stuck at work so I was running late for this......  Luckily the mayor was running late too!  But I had no time to re-beautify myself :(.  The other two pictures are people who own condos in the 1211 building :).
