Posted December 24, 200816 yr Some friends from City-Data.com recommended I post this here. I highly recommend this place if you haven't been. It is MASSIVE and they have so much neat stuff in there including the SR-71, B-2, and F-22! Enjoy!
December 24, 200816 yr welcome Alexanderaf! Great pics, looks like I need to make a road trip! That stealth bomber look sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
December 24, 200816 yr It's a fascinating place! I was waiting one Saturday morning when they unlocked the doors, and it seemed like I had barely gotten started when an announcement came over the PA that it was almost 5 p.m. and they were getting ready to close up. Only then did I realize that I had gone all day without sitting down to eat or take a break. They've grown, and I need to go back. Outstanding photography, too! Welcome to Urbanohio.co.
December 24, 200816 yr This museum is freakin' amazing. I went to school at UD and made a trip to the museum at least once a year during my 4 years of school. I saw something new every time I went. And it's free too! Perfect for a poor college student looking for something to do.
December 24, 200816 yr One of Ohio's best treasures, certainly. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
December 27, 200816 yr They're looking at getting a space shuttle next. That'd be dope!! Nice set and welcome!
December 27, 200816 yr Love that place...I remember going there when I was younger. I'll have to make a trip back sometime soon.
January 22, 200916 yr Reminds me of this great spread in the May, 2008 issue of Architectural Digest taken at an air museum in VA I think. Gorgeous.
January 22, 200916 yr A Space Shuttle would be awsome. I was in The USAF and got to see one at an air show. It's a whole lot bigger than it looks on TV.
January 23, 200916 yr Going to college in Dayton, I was lucky enough to be able to go to the museum several times. Overall, it's amazing.. BUT.. in my opinion, if you go there, you MUST go to the annex and see the Air Force One's hanger. So amazing.
January 28, 200916 yr i always have a strong memory of that museum because we took an in-ohio overnight family trip to see it when i was a kid (along with the neil armstrong museum). very cool place.
