Mercy’s planned West Side hospital gets architects

Champlin, Ellerbe Becket to start designing immediately

Mercy Health Partners has chosen Cincinnati-based Champlin Architecture and Minneapolis-based Ellerbe Becket to design its planned West Side hospital.  “We are extremely fortunate to have two architecture firms of this caliber collaborate on the design for this project,” James May, CEO of Mercy Health Partners, said in a statement.

 

He said the new hospital will be a health care hub for West Side and western Hamilton County communities.  Champlin’s health care résumé includes the Mercy Medical Center Mount Orab, the Heart Hospital and patient tower at Mercy Hospital Fairfield and an outpatient center at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
