Looks decent.  I often wonder if these little tiny towns will ever become obsolete and abandoned.

Not as big as the one in Kentucky, perhaps, but not a bad-looking downtown. Nice 19th-century building stock.

Nice tour!  And I do believe the name of the town is pronounced differently from Louisville KY.....(think "Lewis"ville)

Before I even clicked on this I muttered, "Oh, God." Fortunately, it was another pleasant surprise. That "Town Tavern" is the nicest (obscure) small town tavern I have ever seen. They even have a karate school.

 

This is a nice urban strip, but it bums me out. Regarding an intact urban fabric within a downtown, even small towns like Louisvillle are comparable to our downtown, which only has one similarly intact street.

 

 

Back to this town, it looks occupied and well-preserved. Looks like the nicest place I've seen in Stark county on this forum. This gives me an idea ink. Since you've already done all of the county seats and have been covering numerous other small towns across the state, I know I'd like to see a top three list of each county if possible in the future. You might already have that list on the top of your head.

You don't want me to put together a list like that; Canton, Massillon, and Alliance would knock Louisville out of the Stark running with my urban interests.

Actually, it doesn't look too bad.

yeah, that is a nice main street strip. looks like all the fronts are in use.

This town reminds me of a town like McConnelsville only without a river.

An item in this morning's paper reported that a flower shop in Louisville (Cottage Flowers) was burglarized of its entire inventory of roses, vases, and computer just before Valentine's Day. It's a devastating loss for a small-town small business because that and Mother's Day are the two biggest times of the year.

All the activity was in the next block at the Giant Eagle and McDonalds.

I grew up in Louisville -- and still visit friends there from time to time. The place has seen better times, but it was a great place to grow up in. They have an excellent school system, and have spent a lot of money on developing parks and recreation. Thanks for the great photos!
