February 16, 200916 yr Man, Springfield looks ghetto for a city/metro that size. What the hell happened there? Was there a core industry that vacated or just all-around decline? To be honest, it reminds me a lot of Lima. Hamilton looks quite cozy in these photos. And I love that beach in Lorain. Springfield has ghetto areas but it also has neighborhoods that blow away anything in Lima (or Lorain or Mansfield, for that matter). It's perhaps the quintessential blue collar city with white collar architecture. Well done, Ink. February 22, 200916 yr Great spread! Springfield just makes your eyes well up. They're decades behind in revitalization efforts. Where I would normally would see potential, I wonder if it's even there since no one seems to want to touch anything there with a 10 mile pole. Lorain is making me want to take a roadtrip to the beach. Too bad it's not even March, which is why I shield myself from threads of sunny, warm locales.
