Posted February 26, 200916 yr After 15 years at Sun Newspapers, I submitted my notice this morning to leave the paper. My last day is March 13. It's always tough to leave a job you've been at for so long, especially in this economy. But my work at All Aboard Ohio has gotten so demanding that I could no longer do both and keep my sanity. So, it's off to All Aboard Ohio. And if you think more and better passenger trains in Ohio is a good thing, please become a member, donate to or sponsor All Aboard Ohio, a 501©(3) nonprofit. We accept credit card memberships/donations via www.allaboardohio.org, or by regular mail at 309 South 4th Street, Suite 304, Columbus, OH 43215. Thanks and wish me luck! February 27, 200916 yr congratulations Ken and best of luck. It will be very exciting to have a job you are so passionate about. Yes we will miss the in depth coverage, BUT I suspect you could really spill the beans too now that you don't have to worry about ticking off some of your sources. I am patient, I will wait.
February 27, 200916 yr Thanks all. Peabody, I can speak freely about media coverage in this town. But I will not compromise sources, even if they are no longer my sources. Furthermore, I may still do some freelance writing. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
