The photograph database may be searched by using one of the following criteria methods. Photo Number: If you have a number from a photo – use this field. Example: 2488, or 0001. (Each photograph is identified by a job number followed by a sequential number – 53-2488. For the photo number field please use the sequential number.) Location: This field provides a drop down list of job numbers and their associated geographical location, or railroad line. Example: Job #1003-B&O at Taylorsville. You may also search for pre-construction photos based on location. Example: Job #4 Pre-construction-Taylorsville. Date Taken: Use this field for narrowing your search for a specific time frame between 1915 and 1932. Description: This field allows you to search on many various descriptions – Example: Entering the word Pre-construction will list all photographs taken prior to the construction of the flood control system. The photographs may be downloaded and used; however, we do require you to provide credit to the source of the photographs as the Miami Conservancy District.
