Massively cool.  Love the intense colors.  They are extraordinary!

Where was the last picture taken?  Looks spooky.

The last one was taken in the Rocky River Reservation looking north from under the I-90 bridge area.

Once again, stunning photos.  I love your HDR's.  Awesome job!

I love the color enhancements. It really brings the winter city to life.

Holy HDR!  I really like how it worked out on most of these pics.  The third pic, of the steel bridge is really cool.  It seems emblematic of the city's industrial heritage.  The last pic makes the Rocky River Reservation look like some cool windy mountain road.

Amazing photos

I LOVE those pics as well!  Great job.  Curious question though...I wonder why we never really see many pics on urbanohio of Cleveland from the Eastern vantage point?  It seems most pics are taken from the West to the South.  Maybe myself, or someone with photo skills (Mayday) needs to fire up the camera....

Outstanding!

Thanks.  You can't get the skyline from the Eastern part (unless you are on a building or somewhere) as easily.  If you are by the lake, then I-90 is in the way.  From the west, the city is viewable from places like Edgewater because of the curve of the shoreline.  I've tried shooting from the east, but I can't really find anywhere that's reasonably close to shoot from.

Outstanding job as always!

You're right about the eastern spots but here are a few that have worked for me, some are the obvious places:

Garfield Monument balcony

Parking garages at University Hospitals

New lounge on the top floor of the Clinic's Heart and Vascular building

Parking garage at Cleveland Clinic (East 93rd and Euclid)

Top floor of Rhodes Tower, CSU

The area near St. Lukes Pointe (former St. Lukes Hospital)

And occasionally the Goodtime III will head east of downtown but not always

I'm waiting for the weather to break and I'll be out taking photos again. Thanks to some unfortunate circumstances, I may have quite a bit of free time on my hands. :-|

Garfield Monument balcony  -- Yea _ shoot there, but it's a bit far.

Parking garages at University Hospitals  -  Hmmm Never tried that one.

New lounge on the top floor of the Clinic's Heart and Vascular building  -  I'll have to check that out. Thanks

Parking garage at Cleveland Clinic (East 93rd and Euclid)  -

Top floor of Rhodes Tower, CSU  --  Good idea.  I wonder what access you have to the windows there.  Plus it is through glass ;)

The area near St. Lukes Pointe (former St. Lukes Hospital)    --  Hmmmmm..

And occasionally the Goodtime III will head east of downtown but not always  --  Yea,  I took some from there that were pretty neat.

Thanks for those tips!

Don't wait for the weather...It's always a good time for photos!

Another wonderful set! My favorites are 11, 15, and 17. Thanks for sharing these with us!

Fantastic job.  HDR is used very nicely in those shots.

Beautiful work!

Thanks so much.  I separated the 360 degree image because I am sure no one noticed it wedged in there..lol

The panos are much more detailed than they appear this size.  Check my flickr page if you want to see the originals (and the imperfections with them...lol)

these are quite beautiful.

first of all great eye for the classic angles of the city.

so often there is a cheese factor when effects are used, but this thread really shows how it can be done appropriately.

i was thinking number two would be perfect for something like a pere ubu or cobra verde album cover, it just reminded me of that kind of rock-n-roll vibe. its so hard to choose, they are all great, but maybe number five is my favorite.

anyway, superb work!

Those pics are really cool, and I usually don't like enhanced effects.

These are wonderful, but you may have gone a bit overboard with the highlights in the second photo.  They all look great though, thanks for sharing.

Great pics of a great city!!

awsome pics.  Seems so dreary, yet beautiful.

Love that last picture, would make a cool desktop background.

Great shots don't be a stranger around here!

Your shot from Edgewater was taken in the same spot as when I visited in this 12/08 photo
