UrbanSurfin's thread on Ellsworth motivated me to post some images from a family trip to Maine in 2007.  Our family has rented this property in Tenants' Harbor for summer vacations beginning over 25 years ago - after a long hiatus, we returned in 2007.

The property is on 47 acres in mid-coast Maine. It is in the area called Martinsville, between the villages of Port Clyde and Tenants Harbor, and has the ocean on three sides . This land has a slightly higher elevation than the surrounding properties, and has access to two sand beaches, one on either side of the house.  The 47 acres is “a head” in shape, surrounded by the ocean with walking paths all around it's rocky shore, and through the middle of a black spruce forest.

It's a pretty remote place:

Maine is a nice, relaxing place in the summer.

wow this is beautiful. i'm picturing myself on that adirondack chair. kind of zen. ha. thx, my blood pressure just went way down.

The view with the Adirondack chair is idyllic. The place looks like a perfect summer getaway.
