Cleveland's largest charities outperform those in 28 other major markets nationwide, according to a recent study.

The report by Charity Navigator shows that the combined financial performance of the 42 Cleveland charities ranked second only to those in San Diego. Last year, Cleveland was 12th.

Metropolitan Cincinnati, the only other Ohio market studied, ranked 26th this year.

Cool?

Very cool.  If you give money to a Cleveland based charity, odds are it will be used nearly exclusively for the intended purpose.  Many charites and non profilts operate at well above 20% overhead.

26th for Cincy? lol ... that sucks.
