March 11, 200916 yr Over on the South Hills there are a ton of little family owned Italian joints that have incredible food, friendly service, and a really interesting dining experience as it feels like they are stuck in the early 80s. My 100% Sicilian grandma had her 75th birthday party at one of these places, and it was a great experience. Also, Lydia's in the Strip District is pretty solid.
