No tat as I can't commit to a permanent tat.  I have gotten various henna tats.

I like your tattoo.  One or two I think can be fun.  I have two small tattoos on my arm...a lion and a phrase underneath.  Did it was part of a 'bonding' .... we promptly broke up.

That's a cool tattoo. I like that you used a bridge. I want to get one but I'm waiting for when I'm in better shape. Something urban related that I can design myself. I want it to be all black ink.

I have a friend who's doing it - he doesn't work in a shop anymore, but he's got all the gear, the sterilizer, the ink, etc.  Just a private thing...in fact, I probably wouldn't have gotten it otherwise - part of why it's so cool is that it's my friend doing it, and his wife's design.  I'd thought about it for years, but then when I enlisted in the Army, that pushed it over the top for me - seemed like EVERYBODY had a tattoo, and any fringiness I'd associated with them went completely out the window...in fact, I'd wanted to put this one on my forearm, but my wife vetoed that.

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for a long time.  I'm thinking the outline of the cincy skyline that Skyline Chili uses on the inside of my bicep.  Thoughts?

Any of you that have had tat's, that you now regret?

 

I personally am to fickle to have a tat, as I know I would be bored with it after a while.  I think henna tats provide a great opportunity to express yourself, without become tragic, and mistaking your tats as "body art".

This is my first, so I can answer that question in probably five or ten years!

I am a little.  I've never been pricked or had a surgery.  Plus I don't think those tat parlors are clean.

i got my tats in a similar fashion, friend was in between shops and had the sterilized equipment with him so i got my shoulders done while i watched cartoons. enjoyable time. the needle doesn't hurt as much as it feels like someone scratching you a little continuously, kind of obnoxious. after awhile if you're getting a lot of work done it does start to get worse because the skin is already torn up.

I was too old and should have known better...around 30.  Luckily they are small and I'm fairly modest.  And the tattoo on the back of the head is covered by hair...most of the time.  He wouldn't believe me when I told him how much it was going to hurt.
